Financial Aid & Deadlines

Ramapo College Arch

Financial Aid

Because Ramapo is a state-assisted college, the cost of attending is affordable compared to many other institutions. There are three forms of student financial aid and an application is required:

  • Grants
  • Loans
  • Work/Study Payments

The package offered to a student is determined by financial need and college year.

Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Financial Aid is based on your financial need. Financial aid comes in the form of grants, loans and work-study. The first step to receiving financial aid is filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available starting October 1 each year, and new students should submit their FAFSA no later than May 1 so that we can send you your financial aid award letter around June 1. Ramapo’s School Code for the FAFSA is 009344.  Please visit the link below.
