Graduate Admitted Student Checklist

Login to your Profile and Reply to Your Offer of Admission

To reserve a seat in your cohort, you must submit an enrollment deposit as outlined in your acceptance letter. You can review your letter and pay your deposit by logging back into your .

Click on FORMS > Reply to Offer of Admission > Pay Deposit

The non-refundable enrollment deposit is applied towards your first semester tuition.

The deadline to submit your deposit is referenced in your acceptance letter. If you do not submit your enrollment deposit by the stated deadline, your seat in the program is not guaranteed.

Activate Your Ramapo College Email Account

As a new graduate student, you will need to activate your email account and take advantage of the College’s ,which is our internal news, services and registration portal.

The portal gives you access to Web Registration, paying your bill, reviewing your account, email, your personal calendar, course tools and more.

Please visit and click Account Activation. Once you have activated your email, you can log into the . Please disable any pop-up blocker. In the “user name” box, please type in your Ramapo e-mail address (without and your NEW password.

If you would like to forward your Ramapo emails from your to a personal address – please follow the instructions below –

  1. On your computer, openusing the account you want to forward messages from. You can only forward messages for a single Gmail address, and not an email group or alias.
  2. In the top right, click SettingsSettings.
  3. Settings.
  4. Click theForwarding and POP/IMAPٲ.
  5. In the “Forwarding” section, clickAdd a forwarding address.
  6. Enter the email address you want to forward messages to.
  7. Nextand thenProceedand thenOK.
  8. A verification message will be sent to that address. Click the verification link in that message.
  9. Go back to the settings page for the Gmail account you want to forward messages from, and refresh your browser.
  10. SelectForward a copy of incoming mail to.
  11. Choose what you want to happen with the Gmail copy of your emails. We recommend Keep Gmail’s copy in the Inbox.
  12. At the bottom of the page, clickSave Changes.

Check Your Email Frequently

After submitting your enrollment deposit, all college offices, including your Program Director, will reach out to you via Ramapo email ONLY. Please check your Ramapo email daily for communications on advisement, registration, financial aid, billing, college announcements, etc.

Registration and Advisement

Your Program Director or Program Assistant will send you a welcome email shortly after we receive your Intent to Enroll form and deposit. Please allow a 1-2 business day system refresh before activating your email and trying to register. The Welcome email will give you instructions on registration and what courses you should be registering for in your first semester. You can enter the registration portal by clicking .

You may use the “Web for Students” section of the RCNJ website to access additional important information, including, but not limited to:

  • Registration instructions/dates and the RCNJ Academic Calendar
  • Course catalog, course descriptions and class schedules
  • Billing, online tuition payments
  • Deadlines to register and for semester payment plans
  • Degree audits and transcript(s)
  • Alert-Me-Now(for Emergency Contact Information)

Graduate Housing

Graduate Housing is available at Ramapo College and must be requested prior to enrollment. Please visit herefor details and deadlines.

Proof of Immunization and Health Insurance

All full- and part-time graduate students under the age of 31 are required to: 1) complete and submit the RCNJ Immunization Form; and present proof of two immunizations. To obtain additional information and to access these forms, please visit here. Immunization Records must be updated and submitted to the Health Services Office promptly. If you have additional questions, please call the Health Services Office (201) 684-7536 or Fax: (201) 684-7534.

Health Insurance will be posted to your bill upon registration, if you have health insurance and wish to waive the charge, please do so via the Health Insurance Waiver form on the Student Accounts website.

Apply for Financial Aid, Review Costs and Payment Plans - Pay Your Bill

For the current tuition, fees, room and board charges, visitOffice of Student Accounts / Cost Info. Your bill must be paid by the final due date or your schedule will be canceled and late fees and de-registration may occur.

If you are interested in pursuing financial aid, it will be important to adhere to all related protocols, procedures, schedules and deadlines. Please be sure to access and examine this information carefully, and seek the necessary support from our experts in the Ramapo College Financial Aid Office. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is always available to apply for federal student aid. Graduate students may borrow up to $20,500 towards graduate study. Your bill will be generated once your register for your courses. You can access your bill in the “Web for Students” section of our website highlighted above. Many graduate students, in addition to loans, choose to participate in the various options available through the interest-free Ramapo College Payment Plan program.
