You’re most welcome to join our meetings, whether you are a math major or not, with no obligation to attend every meeting.
To all students, future students, faculty, and future faculty the math club of Ramapo College would like to extend an open invitation to join us. We provide group study sessions for advanced level math courses and attend conferences to enhance students’ math skills. Throughout the academic year we invite guest speakers to provide valuable information regarding careers in the mathematics field. The more participation we have, the more beneficial the organization will become to the Ramapo community.
Yours Truly,
President, Ken Bellottie
For this year we plan to continue the study sessions for advanced math courses. Meetings will be held every other week to discuss potential guest speakers, schedule for study sessions, any other topics or activities that would enhance the club. All majors are welcomed to attend. First meeting date is still to be determined. We will be inviting 2-3 guest speakers per semester.
There will a mathematics conference each semester that the club will attend. The conference may include, but will not be limited to, group and individual competitions, guest speaker talks, students talks, student poster sessions, and mathematics book exhibits.
